To ensure reversibility so that your object can be taken out undamaged in the future, our approach for mounting is to avoid using invasive substances such as aggressive tapes or strong glue. However, mounting objects in odd sizes and shapes can be challenging and you will be consulted if your item requires a minimal amount of gluing for better holding strength.

UV light can cause colours to fade overtime. Your cherished objects should never be placed in direct sunlight, as even indoor lighting has UV which can cause fading in the long run. To protect the colours from fading, we also offer these glazing options with UV protection:

  • Plexiglas® UV100 (99.7% UV protection, shatter resistant)
  • TruVue Conservation Clear® Glass (99% UV protection)
  • Artglass AR 99 Water White (99% UV protection, anti-reflective)
  • Artglass Lifetime Acrylic / TruVue Optium Museum Acrylic® (99% UV protection, anti-reflective, abrasion resistant, anti-static, shatter resistant)
