About the artist
David was born in Chile South America, raised in Melbourne Australia, and currently living on this little red dot. David has always had an interest in the arts and has been drawing and sketching since he was a small boy. He is a self-taught artist and has worked in the advertising/design industry for over 20 years. It’s with these extensive creative experiences that David brings a fresh perspective to his art, creating something different and unique in each of his artworks.

David wants to live in a world where we all paint and create art. When he’s not making art, you can find him looking after his two little monkeys making sure they share, play together and be nice to each other, pheeew! I am tired already.

This is part of the neighbourhood series featuring some of our local elderly folks who are often seen around the Tanjong Pagar estate.
